Two Open Day events were held. Visitors included architects, nurses, clinicians, health planners, engineers, equipment manufacturers, construction companies and representatives from patient groups. Their comments were captured via a questionnaire, and this data was used to inform a final round of design modifications.

Liz Jones from the Department of Health talks about enhancing the patient experience and the advantages that an en-suite bathroom in a single bedroom can provide. Users and clinicians attending the testing and open days give their feedback on the proposed layout. Mungo Smith, Architect, talks about future design challenges to optimise the design.
